Campus Light Ministries, Inc., is a Bible-believing Christian organization located on the campuses of several West Virginia colleges and universities. It was founded in the early 1980's on the campus of West Virginia University and has since spread to the campuses of Marshall University, West Virginia State University, University of PIttsburg, Carnegie Mellon University, West Virginia Tech., Concord University, and Fairmont State University.

Campus Light Ministries of Marshall University began informally in the fall of 1997 with off-campus Bible studies and activities. It was officially chartered as an organization at Marshall in the spring semester of 1998.

The unique aspects of Campus Light Ministries, is its strong emphasis on sound doctrine, discipleship, and the local church. From its inception, Campus Light has sought to supplement the ministries of Bible-believing local churches, not replace them or compete with them.

We feel as an organization that the "college years" are the toughest years of a Christian's life. The challenges both mentally, and physically, are on a different level from any other environment. Therefore the constant feeding from God's Word is the very thing we feel will guide college students through this time of their life.
