Thanksgiving and Christmas Volunteering!

Since Thanksgiving and Christmas are all about quality time with people, we went volunteering at a couple different elderly homes near Rutgers to spend some time with the elderly and share about God’s love with them! 

During Thanksgiving season, we shared with the residents about the Bible story in Luke 17, how Jesus healed 10 lepers and only returned to thank Jesus, reminding us of the importance of giving gratitude where it’s due.

For Christmas, we sang some Christmas carols and read the Bible story about Jesus’ birth with each resident, and found hope together in the good news of great joy for all the people! The residents loved singing together and were encouraged by the good news :)

Excited for all that God will continue to work in these precious residents’ lives, as we continue to go and volunteer at these elderly homes every month!
